COUNTRY & COMMUNITY DATABASE

INTRODUCTION

Scroll to an article, paragraph or term

1. The C&C Database collects and disseminates worldwide information about International Human Rights Standards on Freedom of Religion or Belief. This includes information on Universal Periodic Reviews.

2. Information is submitted under Eight Articles and sub-paragraphs of the 1981 U.N. Declaration on the Elimination of All Forms of Intolerance and Discrimination Based on Religion or Belief, in The Tandem Project Country & Community Database. Scroll down to the Table of Contents and open an Article or a sub-paragraph of your choice. A text box will appear.

3. Identify the Country and Community you live in and a Community-of-Interest. A community is both a geographical location such as a region, state, city, village or neighborhood; and a community-of-interest such as a government, academic institution, religion or belief, place of worship, ethnic or cultural group, association, business, NGO, world-at-large, etc. Read the Article or sub-paragraph and the question. Write a reply in the text box. The reply can range from a short paragraph to a page. Click Submit when you are ready to reply. The Index button should not be used unless you do not want to submit text.
